We really like this new take on the classic Beetle by Californian company Zelectric Motors. The big idea is to take classic Bugs and convert them into all-electric cars. Only the motor is replaced, so driving one of them will be a bit different from the old gas models - they're pretty fast and powerful. Zelectric are still in the development phase but final pricing will probably come in between $45,000 and $60,000, depending on the particular car and model. Now if they start converting split screen VW busses we'll be first in line!
